Aston Martin Residences

THE high life that is associated with Aston Martin moves from cars and accessories to property.

Aston Martin Residences  is a 66-floor luxury condominium tower set for completion in 2021. Located on the Downtown Miami waterfront, the 391-unit development will be fitted out in style, and features great views.

The curved building will offer seven penthouses and one duplex penthouse, all with private pools and terraces. There will also be other options ranging from one- to four-bedroom apartments.

The sail-shaped building will have its interior and amenity spaces designed by the team led by Marek Reichman.

Key Aston Martin design elements will be on show — signature carbon fibre reception desks in each of the tower’s two private lobbies, doors with bespoke artisan Aston Martin handles, number plinths and kestrel tan leather door tabs.

Four levels will be set aside from the 52nd to 55th floors for amenities, including a double-level fitness centre overlooking the ocean, spinning studio, boxing gym, virtual golf room, art gallery, two cinemas, as well as a full-service spa, beauty salon and barber shop.

The development on Biscayne Boulevard Way, is part of the English brand’s ongoing growth story. Beyond its iconic cars that have been featured in movies and are part of the current lifestyle design leitmotif, Aston Martin’s joint venture with G&G Business Developments showcases a move into new territory to broaden its operating environment as part of its six-year second century sustainable long-term growth.

Part of this plan includes the replacement of its entire sports car range, including the all-new DB11, an all-electric RapidE, the reintroduction of the Lagonda brand, as well as the development of its SUV, to be built in Wales.

The new residential tower in Miami would be a test bed of the brand’s strength and reach.

The units range from 700 to 19,000 sqft and are priced from US$600,000 to upwards of $50 million, depending on the views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Some may wonder if this is risky, but it’s probably something James Bond would plunge into martini — shaken not stirred — in hand.
